I dunno what the Jimmy Fallon show does to me… but I seem to go link juicin when the show is on… I started by looking up Ruby a form of OOP which lead me to

Ruby on Rails, a framework for Ruby written by the dudes at …
37signals who keep a decent blog…

Signal vs Noise which hold a decent post about …
Long Camera Takes which was nice but agh… I got …

distracted … which lead me to read
a complaint by Greg… who endorses
Him… and his rap sheet

though….mine is longer… just sayin…

Then again… so is his

Another round of link juice after watching Jimmy Fallon tonight. After hearing about The Roots a bit, I wanted to learn more so I searched The Roots.

The Roots lead me to …

research Def Jam records…

which has a portion owned by Seagrams, the liqour company…

which is owned by the infamous Pepsico who pulls in an astonishing 43 billion per year…

Pepsico is chaired by Indra Nooyi who was listed…

on the Forbes Magazines top 100 most powerful women which is lead by…

Angela Merkel the Chancellor of Germany…who hapens ot be a fan of…

the Energie Cottbus…Who knew?

Link Juice

Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009

So I got a bit distracted tonight…. I loaded google to make a simple search, I don’t even remember what for anymore, but the event that was significant was that I’d installed iGoogle days earlier. So when I loaded google, it tired to distract me with some pretty iGoogle themes made by celebrities. I clicked it. Then starting looking through the results. One of the celebs offering a theme [and suggested iGoogle apps] was Tim Ferriss. Tim is the author of the 4 hour work week. This title intruiged me since I work 90+ hours a week and am always trying to find ways to be more efficient. So I will quit jabbing now… and link you to the multiple interesting things that I found, just following that 1 link from iGoogle…

Tim Ferriss Blog lead me to…

wiki search Twitter … which lead me to click

Jack Dorsey the founder of twitter who was born in St. Louis… like me.

Tim Ferriss Blog also lead me to…

research Angel Investors which is really intruiging.

and find iminlikewithyou which I can’t wait to play when I have a tablet hooked up…

and since their opening video talks about names… I searched a few that I like

At one point I was even further distracted by the Late Show with Conan and I overheard them talking about the shamwow guy… which was a less educational link trek… but that is a story for another night…

Happy to have DSL, but I still hate them for various reasons. I will link them all here, and while short for now, this list will one day be longer than life itself.

A fine design for wine

Monday, April 21st, 2008

Ok, so I am partial to cabs to begin with. Cabs called The Show are even better. Cabs called The Show that have wickett cool labels are even better! This bottle sells at some small wine shops around town and actually pours pretty well right now. I was pleasantly surprised to see it on the shelf at a grocery store in St. Louis. The label is reminiscent of the Hatch Show Print - you can read all about it at Winewaves. So this little gem mixes my old love of design with my new love of wine.
